What to do if you have had an automobile loss.

The first thing to do is make sure everyone is OK. Seek medical care if necessary.

You should call us as soon as possible to let us know what has happened.

You need to obtain the names of all parties involved along with any witnesses. If the police responded, many times they will provide this information to you.

You, or the operator, will need to complete a Operators Report. This can be obtained from any local police station or from the Mass RMV. To download one, click here After you have completed this form, you can either fax it to us at (781) 893-0810, come to the office or mail it to us. If you are not sure how to complete this form, call us. We are here to help you.

Assuming you have the necessary coverage, we will make the arrangements to have your vehicle seen by an company appraiser.

If your car is not drivable, you will probably want to rent a car. If you have rental coverage, your policy will pay for this. If you do not, you will have to make arrangements with the other insurance company to receive reimbursement, assuming the accident is not your fault. It is wise to have rental on your own policy.
